In Case of Registered Power of Attorney:–
Send a legal notice to the Power of Attorney Holder/Agent. Ensure that he receives the Notice. Collect the Acknowledgement (either received or not received). Alternatively, the Principal has to give Paper Publication in two noted local newspapers (Telugu and English). Then, file a Suit in Civil Court for cancellation of Regd. Power of Attorney.
When there is consent of both parties, The SRO can cancel the Regd. Power of Attorney. There is no need to approach the Court. When there is no consent of parties, even the Sub Registrar cannot cancel Registered Power of Attorney. The Principal has to file Civil Case for cancellation of Regd. Power of Attorney as stated above.
In Case of Unregistered Power of Attorney: —
Send a legal notice to the Address of Power of Attorney Holder/Agent. Ensure that he receives the Notice. If the power of attorney holder/agent intentionally evades to take notice, the Principal has to give Paper Publication in two noted local newspapers (Telugu and English).
Then it is deemed that the Power of Attorney is cancelled.
